Using Gold leaf & Gilding mix, items required:
Real Gold or Imitation gold leaf transfer
White Gilding mix 30ml bottle.
A Nib or Imitation/Nylon Brush to apply the gilding mix.
A cheap soft brush for dry cleanup of the gold leaf/powder.

METHOD:
Apply Wills Quills White Gilding mix to your paper/card surface, i.e write with a nib or using a 'pre-wet' brush, complete your artwork. Wait for 5 to 10 minites until the glue has dried, (it will then become sticky like selotape, and clear), cut a piece of glod leaf to approximate size, then apply the Gold leaf over the gilding mix area.

Then use the cheap soft clean-up brush to cleanup the area. More light brush rubbing around the work area will restore the surrounding papers appearance, and you should see the finished gold lettering or painted area clearly GILDED.

Cleanup your glue brush or nib before the glue dries on it, or you will not be able to recover the brush/nib to working order. Use luke warm water with a little dish washing liquid, making sure to rinse the soap completely out of it.
