The "Brause 66EF" a softly sprung, fine tipped nib, but having a broad stroke ability. With these features, this is a favourite of many copperplate writers.

Besides its well known use for copperplate, it is an excellent fine line drawing nib when used upside down. The shape of the nib allows it to hold a lot of ink and this makes it draw really thin lines almost endlessly.

These are Italic style nibs with a right oblique angle, ideal for Gothic, Celtic, Foundation hand, or any upright calligraphy style. The right oblique angle makes the vertical lettering style easier to write, also to do a horizontal line becomes easier as the wrist doesn't need to twist to the side.

Advanced italic calligraphers can benefit from the right oblique angle, when doing flourishing work, as the nib rides up on one side easier than with a square cut nib.
