The alphabet characters "A", "B" and "C" are repeated on each line using the following extracted samples; 1. New Testament. Probably Pontigny, France circa 1170 2. Breviary. Monte Casino, Italy circa 1153 3. Gospel Lectionary. Reichenau, Germany or Sainte Gall, Switzerland circa 950-975 4. King David Missal. Vienna, Austria circa 1420-1430 5.
