large desktop writing accessory holder. The set is 27.5 x 16.5cm (11 x
6.5 inches), made from Mahogany / Western Australia She-Oak, having a
mid-toned wood shade and matt varnished finish. The 2x fixed ink jars with lift off tops, have fitted green glazed ceramic ink pots, with the central fixed nib holder, having a screw tight top. These are lathe turned accessories. Beautifully finished with felt pads to stop table scratches. CUSTOM MADE "WHITE CERAMIC INK POTS"

An item that has become a collectors special over the years. They can be mounted on writing desks, or into desktop ink pots, with an appropriate size hole for the ceramic to fit. Or a small wood block or other material can be drilled out, for a moveable ink pot on a desk. Or any other creative idea of your own. # To help you with your design features, the size of a ceramic is as follows; Note the base of the pot tapers to a thinner size, and has a wide rim on the top of at least 5mm all round. THE KONRAD VON GESNER "ORIGINAL" RETRACTABLE PENCIL

This is another German item, but from 1500AD. The design is the original retractable pencil as made by K. von Gesner, a prominant scientist . It has become an important cultural asset used to preserve and record his observations. * The set is presented in a white wood compartmentised carry box. * With 2 wood handled sketch pencils and extensive accessories as follows; * 4x 5mm broad graphite leads in 2B, 4B and 6B sketching densities. * A large pencil eraser. * A lead sharpening knife. * A sharpening block to get a good point on the leads.
