5.     EQUIPMENT & MATERIAL: Rice paper, Chinese ink, Chinese brush and general painting pigments for junior school students
6.     TEACHING CONTENT (as follows):
·        Ancient Chinese pictograms and 12 horoscope animals: Basic brush control and movement, games in lines, writing the animal characters representing each year.
·        The character <YONG> eternity and the 8 basic strokes in writing Chinese characters, table of Chinese stroke order, English first name into Chinese.

·        Calligraphical painting: simple pictograms in nature, number, human features, converted into simple compositions.

·       English name transformed into Chinese brush strokes in writing.

·        Beijing Opera face painting patterns and symbolic colour usage.

·        Simple water-ink painting on rice paper: farm animals, food, dolls, human faces….etc.

·        Replica of fragments in ancient scriptures rubbing style: water-resist method using Chinese material.

·        Traditional papercutting techniques.

·        Shadow puppets.

·        Burial figurines in clay.

·        Plum, Orchid, Bamboo and Chrysanthemum: The 4 gentlemen painting.

·        Stone seal carving: Horoscope animal.
