Kern Prontograph Pen Humidifiers. For those who are continuously using the technical pens, this idea is an excellent way to swap pen sizes and colour inks on the "GO". Seperate sockets on the stand fit the pen and its cap. The stocks we have of this stand:
A large 8 set humidifier.
A small 4 set humidifier.

Humidifying details: On removing the pens cap, the pen will write immediately, however if left for 5 minites or more without replacing the cap, the ink may dry out.
Using the humidifier will keep the ink ready to GO for an extended time (1 day or so). Simply load the removable tray underneath the humidifier with water. The sponge in the tray will soak away most of it, and replace the top section. Place on your workdesk and load your tech' pens into the empty slots. The humidifying effect starts straight away, keeping your pens ever fresh. Refill with more water if the pads dry out.

Kern Prontograph writing templates are available in 4x sizes. You can use them with these sizes of technical pen;

0.25 tip, The style of lettering is upright, that is a straight roman style.

0.35 tip, 0.50 tip, 0.70 tip. The style of lettering is slightly leaning, that is, in an ITALIC style.

Actually any brand of technical pen held vertically in these templates will allow writing of the A to Z. This includes Rotring, Staedtler etc.

Each template has the CAPITALs, lower case letters, plus most other symbols - like [ ], ( ), ?, +, -, /, * and arrows etc. Another feature of successful neat writing with a tech' pen is the raised template. It slides above your paper/card on 2 top & bottom aluminium rails, this stops wet ink from touching the template as you write. It can also be turned upside down to get reverse charcters, with the same effect.
