SCHOELLERSHAMMER 6G HOT PRESS SHEETS

This paper stock is just about the smoothest that water colour paper can get. Puts the other top brands to shame.

Schoellershammer 250gsm weight,
100% cotton content, acid free, off white shade,
Premium grade hot press surface,
Size: 168 x 212mm straight edge cut.
Available in a 9x pack of small sheets, for miniaturists to trim to their own sizes, priced at AUD$15.00 per pack.

NOTE: July 2007, all 300gsm '6G' paper is completely sold out. The new packs contain 250gsm with the same Schoellershammer embossed image on the corner of the sheet, minus the '6G' mark.



There are 3x grades of synthetic and real IVORY that we sell. By 3x grades we mean 2x are synthetic sheets as follows;

1. Polymin ORIGINAL sheet (imitation Ivory), these are 8" x 12" or 203 x 305mm in size and 0.15mm thick. While this is very thin the antique ivory colouring makes the sheets only semi translucent. the sheets have been in use for the last 40 years for archival applications without degradation. The surface is matt finished. The cost per sheet is AUD$36.75 each.
2. Standard IVORINE sheet (imitation Ivory), these are 5 3/4" x 7 3/4" or 146 x 196mm in size and 0.5mm thick. The sheet has a semi translucency to it and is a near white colour. The cost per sheet is AUD$38.00 each.
3. MAMMOTH IVORY pieces, yes you read correctly, the real thing. These are 50 x 40mm which is mighty small, but just the right size for a single brooch or small framed miniature finished work. The thickness is 0.5mm. Over 10,000 year old of Russian origin, these pieces are selected, cut and finished by specialist craftsmen. One side has a smooth matt surface and is specially marked and ready for your work. The cost per piece is AUD$64.60 each. There are no legal or ethical constraints associated with its use.
