Some technical details about Schmincke gouache: The colour permanence of these gouaches have ratings from excellent light resistance,  through very good, to good  light resistance, these details are shown on each tube, with half of them being in the excellent classification. Not all these gouaches are totally opaque – the Madder Red and Lemon Yellow only have semi-covering abilities, compared to the rest which are total covering - opaque watercolours.
