summarises our goods and mail order, trading conditions.
Ordering procedure:-
Never
put credit card information in emails because we are not a secure
website.
Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars. Send an email with your
order inquiry, complete with your physical post address to us,
and we will prepare a quote for you, working out the goods availability
and parcel postage. In our email reply to you, we will give you
instructions about how to send us your credit card information
more securely.
We have an AUD$20.00 minimum amount for mail order goods, plus
postal charges. So please make up your order to cover this minimum
charge.

Our shop in Chatswood supplies calligraphy and painting goods throughout Australia, and around the world. We have a mail order department which supplies our main customer clientele and we serve many dealers, teachers and schools etc. Orders are accepted by phone. If the goods are in stock we can give you a turn around service, via the post of just a few days.
Beside the fact that we are the largest stockist of Chinese and Japanese art supplies in Australia, we also have one of the largest stocks of goods in the calligraphy area. We stock most well known brands of pens, Calligraphy markers, specialised paper, and show cards for writing work, plus any amount of nibs, inks, books etc. All these goods are from manufacturers like Osmiroid, Rotring, Platignum, Fabriano, Canson, Arches, Windsor & Newton, and many more are included in our range of stocks. We are also an authorised dealer in Print Gocco screen printing equipment.
We endeavour to stock as many items of material required by our customers as possible. In this way anything you want and we do not carry the goods, we will be most anxious to find out what they are and do our best to get the item for you. It might take a little time, especially if the goods are from Europe or Asia, but we will do our very best to locate them.
We
import and distribute many of these goods - so we are interested
in supplying other art material outlets, so as to improve the
availability of the materials. We are prepared to detail the 'finer
points' of these goods, as to their nature, functions etc, so
that retailers stocking our range will have some knowledge of
the goods, and so s/he can provide support and guidance to the
newer interested parties.

Each
lesson will develop your understanding of Copperplate letterforms through the completion of a series of small projects. You will make, place cards, greeting cards, write out small passages of prose and complete compositions and study the layout for invitations etc. A series of copperplate nibs will be used, starting with the elbow nib, then the Principal and Brause nibs used with an oblique nib holder. You will learn to make your own black ink and also write with coloured gouache and gold ink. |
